Steamboat Soccer Academy is more than a summer soccer camp

We hear it every year. SSA really is a different soccer camp with more than 20 years of history and tradition of helping youth soccer players of all ages get better as a soccer player and create long-lasting, positive memories that reach beyond the lines of the soccer field.

The Steamboat Soccer Academy takes place in a world-class mountain resort town, known for creating athletes that compete on the world stage. The facilities provided through Colorado Mountain College and the City of Steamboat Springs have been the training grounds for Olympians for decades. This sets the stage for creating an athletic atmosphere that cultivates inspiration, power, and joy that cannot be matched by any other community.

At SSA, we provide opportunities for our soccer players to play hard, with a focus on Technical Skills, Tactical Awareness, Physical Power, Mental Toughness, and Character. Players also enjoy the adventures that the Steamboat community has to offer. Steamboat in the summertime is amazing, and we want our players to enjoy their active recovery between sessions. During camp, we provide opportunities to soak in the Old Town Hot Springs, tube the Yampa River and taking part in yoga and stretching sessions with their fellow campers. This approach to training introduces players to a well-rounded lifestyle that only SSA can provide.

Parents, SSA is the perfect addition to your family vacation plans this summer, where everybody wins. For the perfect parents’ vacation, drop your players off for one of our residential soccer camps and then enjoy your vacation, hiking, biking, soaking, tubing, and shopping, while they enjoy a summer soccer camp with new friends, new experiences and a ton of soccer. Then pick your players up at the end of their session and hear all about how great their vacation was while you were on vacation as well! The entire family gets a summer vacation, all on the same “family vacation”. Everybody wins!
